We're doing headstart at school before the holidays start, and one of my classes is 2D ART, this is a picture of Kate Winslet, the idea of this is trace around her face then using dots shade the face in..... that alot of dots took a few hours

so many dots, dots DOTS :crazy::p

yeah i think she looks a bit to male like, i did the nose to dark... well i think i did......... looks better for real but not by much ^^

ok i didn't want to scan the pic that i traced around to get the head shape but i did find it on the web [link]

Woot! I LOVE pointilism! It's the only way I can get my humans to look good :giggle: Plus I think it's therapeutic, the rhythm of the marker against the paper... :shrug: :giggle: Good job on this! :clap:

yeah it does seem a little too dark around the nose, but for the most part it looks great......I probably couldn't do dots, even though i do make very tiny strokes that look like the dots, i don't do pen or these dots lol :nod: :lemon:

thanks ^^ yeah tis a lot of dots, i was doing it in all my classes at school lol.... i think in a dark area 100 dots is the size of pressing a finger on paper if that made sense ^^;
